Well, this has been an interesting season in my life. I lost a job that I loved, at the beginging of the summer. It has given me the opportunity to get quite a few things done. I've gone through files here in the house, organized some stuff in the basement, waxed the boat, painted the living room, started painting my bedroom, and planned some awesome parties. I have just started a new job that is no where near as demanding. I am hoping that it will still allow me the time and devotion that I like to give to my own house. I am also going to apply to write professionally for a blog company. We'll see where this leads me! Hopefully to some extra time here at home!

Ok, I have found a super cool item. And you all know I am all about new, unusual, functional items. So, this product is a stylish bracelet made of paracord. In emergent situations you can actually unravel the bracelet and use it. Even in the case that you do, the company will replace it for free! It is from a company that is super big on spporting out troops. They have a whole program for sending a care package to our troops and they donate $5 of the cost to A Wounded Warriors Program-how awesome! They make other items out of it too! Ok, the weekend is upon us! Here in the NC/SC area it is tax free weekend. We have gotten all of my daughter's school supplies and her Birthday Present too! I look forward to surprising her. We are getting all of the details together for her birthday party which is a Murder Mystery. She came up with the idea and found a great site- www.host-a-murder.com. The company has been great answering a ton of questions to help make sure this is appropriate for a group of 12 year olds-we can't wait!
